About Me
In a nutshell,
Hey, I'm Krystal! I’m passionate about building products because it challenges me to untangle complex problems, deepen my understanding of people, and create things in a world that increasingly needs a little more magic.
I have a background in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo. As a result, I have an affinity towards creating intuitive solutions from the holistic systems level—mapping out the intricate connections and impacts of interactions.
The backstory
I’ve been hooked on the design process since I could first pick up a pencil and over the years, I’ve explored a wide range of creative constructs. To stay in tune with my creative side during university, I honed in on my technical craft to create impactful experiences for people by working with several cross-functional product teams from early stage start-ups to mature companies.
When I’m not deep in cells of data, pages of wireframes, or lines of code, you’ll find me eating my way through new culinary scenes and creating joyful dishes in my kitchen.
